I. Skill Gap: Back

Indian Electronics and Hardware Industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of 17% till 2022. This would translate to an additional manpower demand of 11 Lakh (IMaCs report) in the next 5 years period. However, skill gaps exist in the entire gamut of functions such as in Design and Development, Production, Sales, and Service functions. East Godavari district is well positioned to utilise this opportunity through skilling of about 10,000 unemployed and self employed people.

The following trainings in different specialisations within Electronics Sector are identified for self and gainful employment such as

  • Job trainings – Phone assembly, Laptop assembly, Computer assembly, CCTV Installation and Service, Home Appliances Repair and Service, Broadband and DTH Operators, TV Repair, UPS and Inverter Service, Solar Panel Installation Technician, Soldering in Mother Boards, LED Lights Production
  • Skill Trainings – Phone Repair, Computer Hardware and Networking Repair and Service, Home Appliances Repair and Service, TV Repair and Service
